Observations of Double Stars. XVIII.
Micrometer observations of 1350 pairs in 1995-1997 are listed.

Mesures d'etoiles doubles faites a Nice (5eme serie. Double star measurements made at Nice
We present the last observations from two lists: General program and MLRpairs, made with the 50~cm refractor of Nice Observatory.

Four Color UVBY Photometry of the almost Contact Semi-Detached System Tx-Cassiopeiae
The early-type eclipsing binary TX Cas was observed in theStrömgren uvby system from October, 1984 to January, 1985. A newperiod of p = 2.9268352 days is determined. The color indices of TX Casat maximum light were found to be v = 9.15, b-y = 0.33, m1 =-0,02, c1 = 0.27 and u-b = 0.90, respectively, and thereddening E (b-y) = 0.43. TX Cas probably consists of two early-typecomponents of spectral type B1.5+B7. The system may be just after thecommon envelope evolutionary stage of case b mass transfer.

Micrometer observations of double stars and new pairs. XIII
From a program of double star observations which emphasizes orbital, neglected, and newly discovered pairs, results obtained from October1984 to January 1987 are presented. A total of 3030 visual and 550photographic measures are listed. The positions in WDS format andDurchmusterung numbers are shown for 117 pairs for which firstobservations appear in this paper. Magnitudes are estimated for some ofthe objects.

An investigation of the stellar association containing the 1.95 day Cepheid SU Cassiopeiae
The results of photometric and spectroscopic observations of SU Cas andthe surrounding dust complex are reported. UBV photometry was made ofearly type stars in the dust complex on eight nights in 1978-79 and afurther 10 stars were surveyed within 7 arcmin of SU Cas. Spectroscopicmeasurements were also made of the objects in order to obtain radialvelocities and equivalent widths. The data suggest the region has amoving cluster (BA association) 30 pc in angular extent, with the 1.95arcday Cepheid SU Cas as a member. The association is 255-261 pc distantand has a 6 pc spread between members. The association stars are around120 Myr old, typical of 4 solar mass stars. Finally, the core membersinclude visual and spectroscopic binary system and a short-periodCepheid.

Estimation of spectral classifications for bright northern stars with interesting Stromgren indices
The purpose of this investigation is to provide spectroscopic observerswith finding lists of potentially interesting objects. From anunpublished UVBY catalogue of 7026 northern stars (mostly brighter than8.3m) 1094 objects with interesting combinations of UVBY indices havebeen selected. Most stars with post-HD classifications have beenexcluded, as well as late F dwarfs belonging to the intermediatepopulation II. For the 792 remaining stars estimated spectralclassifications are given. The techniques and experience from a previouspaper dealing with southern stars have been utilized here. Among thepredicted spectral classifications are 40 OB stars; 262 Ap, Am, or Fmstars; 16 supergiants of types A to G; 110 bright giants of types A to K(class II); 156 double stars or objects with composite spectra; 26 lateF dwarfs; 91 weak-lined dwarf and giant stars of types F to K, includingearly F-type population II field blue stragglers; and a few possiblefield horizontal branch stars, lambda Bootis-type stars, and late-typehalo giants.
