The Tokyo PMC catalog 90-93: Catalog of positions of 6649 stars observed in 1990 through 1993 with Tokyo photoelectric meridian circle
The sixth annual catalog of the Tokyo Photoelectric Meridian Circle(PMC) is presented for 6649 stars which were observed at least two timesin January 1990 through March 1993. The mean positions of the starsobserved are given in the catalog at the corresponding mean epochs ofobservations of individual stars. The coordinates of the catalog arebased on the FK5 system, and referred to the equinox and equator ofJ2000.0. The mean local deviations of the observed positions from theFK5 catalog positions are constructed for the basic FK5 stars to comparewith those of the Tokyo PMC Catalog 89 and preliminary Hipparcos resultsof H30.

Photometric survey near the main Galactic meridian: 2.1. Finding charts and photoelectric U,B,V,R stellar magnitudes in 25 fields
Finding charts and photoelectric U,B,V,R magnitudes of stars in 25fields in the Main Galactic Meridian (programme MEGA) are presented. This part of the photometric survey includes fields near the NorthGalactic pole and fields at southern Galactic latitudes. Together withthe finding charts of 2.5(deg) x2.5(deg) the equatorial coordinates ofthe stars are given for epoch and equinox 1950.

High spatial resolution IR observations and variability of the nuclear region of NGC 1068 - Structure and nature of the inner 100 parsec
Speckle interferometic observations of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 1068 at3.61 microns in two perpendicular directions are reported, and threedifferent methods are used to compute the spectrum phase of the object. Two distinct zones are found, with the emission of the nuclear regionbeing essentially nonthermal, and the emission of the extended regionbeing probably thermal in origin. The unresolved component of thenuclear region is found to be variable, and to be confined inside theinner 0.15 pc. Data are consistent with a nuclear core of 0.15 pcmaximum size illuminating an optically thick halo of 18-pc diameter thatcan be identified with the barely resolved 2-cm radio nucleus. Thechange in polarization from the visible to the near IR could be due toscattering by electron clouds and transmission through strongly aligneddust.

MK classification for F- and G-type stars. IV
MK spectral classifications are given for 112 stars brighter than mv =7.5, having HD types F2-G5. The classifications were made on slitspectrograms of dispersion 75 A/mm at H gamma.
